Q1

What’s a childhood memory or early gaming experience that stayed with you?

The moment my parents bought me -after many months of insistence- my very first game: Pokémon Yellow, with the respective Gameboy colour. I was hooked to it instantly, and since it was in English, I used to play it with a dictionary by my side as I did not know the language. After some years playing, I managed to not only finish the game but doing it with a team composed by my beloved Pikachu and 5 dragonites, my favourite Pokémon.

Another worthy mention is Starcraft. What a blast! The story was so immersive and beautifully crafted that I still consider it one of the best games ever. It really got me into real time strategy games!

Q2

What’s something you played recently—alone or with others—that really stuck with you or taught you something?

Elden Ring. Taught me the value of patience and discipline to the point that I actually enjoyed the suffering that is unavoidable while playing it. Definitely one of the most difficult games I’ve completed. It is a true masterpiece in every single way possible.

Q3

What’s a moment in gaming that made you feel truly accomplished—like something you’d brag about in a job interview? Think boss battles, platinum trophies, or anything that shows your resilience and excellence.

Hate to repeat myself here but probably becoming Lord of the Frenzied flame on Elden Ring. It is known to be the hardest ending, and I love it.

Q4

A game that offers deep immersion, challenge, or relaxation—perfect for solo play and personal growth.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Another masterpiece of world building, with the perfect balance between outstanding storytelling, amazing battles and relaxing exploration and immersion.

Q5

Which game would you use to test team dynamics, collaboration, or just share a good laugh with colleagues or friends?

If you want to go classic, I’d recommend either Quake III or Counter Strike 1.6. Pure bliss. Also, any version of Mario Kart or Smash Bros: endless hours of fun are guaranteed.

Q6

Which character best reflects your role in a team project at PNO? The silent strategist, the chaos coordinator, the morale booster?

Probably Jim Raynor, the lead character of StarCraft. He was an awesome recruiter, a problem solver and a natural leader.

Q7

Imagine you’re sent to the ultimate beach office. What one game would you bring to keep yourself entertained, sane, and possibly productive?

Civilization VI. That game has it all and I never get bored of playing it, while also making me feel smarter while learning about history!

Q8

From teamwork and adaptability to decision-making under pressure or creative problem-solving—what gaming lessons show up in your day-to-day?

Adaptability, quick thinking and most importantly, resiliency. The games also show you in a very clear way that practice makes perfect and that mistakes are necessary to become a master!
