Dear colleague,
Here it is: your brand new Connected. Brand new in multiple ways! Because, through this Connected you are confronted with multiple changes.
One of these changes is that the magazine is digital. Obviously, a digital Connected comes with advantages. For example, we are no longer dependent on long shipping deadlines, and it offers much more possibilities in areas such as multimedia. Something we made good use of, as you can see and hear in Zou’s Journey and Through the late polar nights.
Also, we can now add an extra dimension to the articles in the Connected. Just click through to the artist’s website in From spreadsheets to canvases (who, by the way, is also responsible for the cover of this edition of Connected), or check out the often funny YouTube videos in Super PNO Bros.
But there is also another significant change, one that you may not have noticed as much. That is the group’s new logo and name: PNO Innovation. You’ll no doubt understand that we didn’t switch to a new identity overnight: this is a well thought-out process that is entirely in line with the transition PNO is undergoing, and which will culminate early next year in the launch of our new website. We are so excited that we couldn’t wait to share our new branding with you through this online magazine!
Speaking of new. What about the young parents, who in Baby tales exchange thoughts on their new life in which they must reconcile childcare and work? Or a whole new way of looking at comics in Comics – what’s your favorite?
Fortunately, however, not everything is new. Familiar are the contributions we have received from within the organization, such as our Innovation Engineering colleague featured in A Week in the Working Life of… or our French colleague who in Puzzling during working hours explains in detail how he maps out the financial aspects of a European grant project.
So, whether you live in Athens or in Honningsvåg: you don’t have to wait anymore for the Connected to plop on your doormat. Just turn this page and get carried away on a new creative, passionate, inspiring and artistic maelstrom that not only makes PNO Innovation so special, but this Connected no doubt unique!
